Heal with a supportive tribe
Healing in a group setting helps with the isolation we so often feel when healing from painful experiences. Many clients find that being around other people who are processing the same thing in a supportive environment can be transformative. My clients often pair individual therapy with groups because they find it increases the level of support they feel throughout the week which is helpful for coping.
Currently we are offering the following groups:
Parenting Kids with Anxiety
In this online support group for parents, we process the challenges that come with parenting a child with anxiety. As a parent, it’s important to understand the language of anxiety so you can relate and communicate with your child in helpful ways. Anxiety in kids can create its own unique set of behavioral problems in kids that can be confusing to navigate alone. In this 12-week group, we process the challenges your having with your anxious child, how to handle tough situations, and set boundaries and communicate in helpful ways. This group is designed to be a safe space where you can process and receive emotional support from other moms who get and understand what you are going through. For more details, please contact us.
Anxiety Skills for Adults
In this 12-week online support group, I will teach you healthy ways of dealing with your anxiety to help you function better in your day-day life. Together we will work to uncover the root cause of your anxiety, challenge negative thought patterns, and implement healthy behaviors. This group works well for anyone who wants to learn coping skills, gain insight and be in community with other women managing their anxiety. For more details, please contact us.

This is a an in-person group that meets in my office. We cap enrollment at six participants to give optimal opportunity for being supported without the chaos of a large setting that can be overwhelming for kids with anxiety. This group is also offered for kids (ages 7-9). For more details, please contact us.
Social & Emotional Skills for Kindergarten (ages 4½-6)
Social and emotional maturity is one of the key factors in the level of success your child may experience in Kindergarten. As much as reading and writing are important, so are social skills, following directions and being able to emotionally regulate in a classroom of other students. If your child is struggling in this area, this group can be helpful in supporting your child’s emotional growth by engaging in the therapeutic process, and learning how to problem solve, resolve conflict, co-play successfully, emotionally regulate and be social with other kids in healthy ways. This group is kept small for optimal help and support and is open to pre-k as well as current kindergarteners.
