Let’s play mind-reader for a sec…
You are the high-functioning, overthinking, overproducing bad-ass with crippling anxiety and fear you keep to yourself.
- You spend hours over-thinking and over-reacting to people and things that really don’t deserve it,
- You’re known to be an over-achiever, perfectionist, people-pleaser who runs a mile a minute, and can’t sit still,
- You’re the strong one who pushes through your emotions, always supports others, and is forever striving to feel good enough and to earn the love and respect of others.
What’s more exhausting than reading it… you’re LIVING it.
Everyday clicks by with more anxiety than the one before. You’re likely living in a constant state of stress, panic, and anxiety.
- You want to relax but you can’t,
- You want to relate to people better but you can’t,
- You want to feel good enough, but you don’t,
- Your body is “wired and tired” all the time,
- You people please on auto-pilot,
- Saying “yes” is your favorite word to regret,
- And being the strongest, most capable person in the room is the name of the game.
- If you’re not doing things perfect or right… then why do it at all? That’s the anthem you sing.
You’ve read the self-help. You’ve tried breathing. You’ve tried positive thinking.
But it all leads you back to the same anxiety pit. And, that sucks, to be frank, because you feel like a failure. Almost like there are no solutions for ridding yourself of this anxiety cycle that’s in place.
But the truth is: you are not failure. Not even a little bit.
It’s because that stuff doesn’t work when you need to treat the root causes of anxiety. Even if you are high-functioning, anxiety is real, painful, and can feel overwhelming. It needs strategic support and care to help you feel better.
This is also true for trauma.
Traumatic experiences that go unprocessed can cause a host of symptoms and reactions that can feel like anxiety. We all have a past. If that past is painful, traumatic and/or feels unresolved, we are vulnerable to a host of issues in our relationships, our bodies and our minds. It usually takes specialized support in order to heal and move on in healthier ways.
Introducing…
A Therapy Program for Adults with Anxiety
Six months of therapy wrapped up in an all-inclusive, comprehensive program that is, in my opinion, the crème de la crème of mental health… but I might be biased since I created it from scratch. 😉
Here’s what it includes:
Once a month: Workshop Training Online with Nicole for coping skills and strategies for managing anxiety and trauma symptoms. These are done live, online and recorded. If you miss a workshop session you can watch the replay online via the membership portal. So you never have to worry about missing a teaching module.
Once a month: EMDR Intensive session online. These sessions are 2 hours long, where we will target specific areas in your life you need help and support in. In these sessions, you get to decide what we work on, and together we will reprocess pain and work to heal triggers in a safe, one-one confidential setting.
Twice a month: Online group therapy sessions with other group members. These are structured sessions where everyone will get a chance to speak and process what’s come up for them that week, as well as incorporating therapy activities and interventions in a group setting.
Two-Day Retreat: The program includes a ticket to an online weekend retreat with me and the rest of the members in the program. I am going to teach you live and in person for 2 days. We are going to rejuvenate (the right way), learn skills and tools, process feelings, and invite an all around insightful, meaningful experience together as a group.
Online Portal: You get access to the online portal where I post worksheets, journal prompts, and thought challenges for that month. You can also ask questions and interact with other members, mid-week as things come up.
Why utilize different therapy methods?
- Coaching has the ability to support your healing process from a deep level. Together we can work through your pain, past experiences, reframe your thinking’s, and learn how to cope with emotions in healthy ways. You don’t have to continue to do life as you’ve always done. At any time you can choose to commit to yourself and walk the path and embrace the journey of becoming who you want to be.
- EMDR has the ability to reprocess trauma, painful memories and rewire the anxious brain. I’ve seen it time and time again with my clients. And the research is clear. I work from a holistic-somatic framework because we are humans made up of a mind-body-spirit and all of that stuff matters.
- Community. The healing process can be challenging at times, and its worse when you feel isolated and alone in it. When you have a safe community you can do this healing journey with, it has the potential to help by leaps and bounds. Being seen, heard and valued are some of our most innate needs as humans. And if you’ve been doing relationships in unhealthy ways until now, you probably don’t have many safe people around you. Consider this your launch pad and model for learning how to create safe, supportive relationships in your life.
- Learning through workshops has the ability to increase your coping skills and abilities to use skills to manage your emotions. I’ll teach you how to manage anxiety, cope with strong emotions, communicate effectively, set boundaries, have healthy relationships, do self-care effectively, and learn how to change your thoughts and reframe them in healthier ways.
Here’s the process to get started:
- Call or email us to set up the first appointment. You will need to meet with Nicole, in-person or online for 60 mins for initial one-one, intake session. We will talk about you, your symptoms, the program and decide if it’s a right fit for you. This session involves a clinical intake and assessment, so you are billed $550 for this session independently of the program.
- If you are not a good fit for this program – don’t fret! I will give you other options for either working with me, or I will refer you to another therapist, or will provide other resources that would be a better fit. The goal of this session is to figure out what would support you best in your healing journey.
- If you are a right fit, I will give you all the info for starting the program and we will get you set up!
Ready? Let’s get it!

FAQ
Clinically speaking, who is the program for?
Anxiety Disorders, Panic, OCD, PTSD, and Trauma may benefit from the therapeutic modalities utilized in this program.
It says young professionals, what age group is that?
Young adults who are somewhere in their mid 20’s or 30’s. We share some common developmental milestones and life-stage issues that can be helpful to journey through with others close to your age. You are also at the beginning of most things in life: jobs, marriage, kids, learning who you are, what you want to do. Putting everyone together in this life-stage creates a common bond right off the bat so that’s why it is set up that way.
Who Designed this Program
Moi, Nicole Symcox, LMFT. I am the heart and brain behind this program and I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and trauma disorders in kids and adults. I am an EMDR trained clinician and take a holistic approach to the healing process when working with clients. I’ve taught in universities in both bachelor and masters programs and I’ve been asked to guest speak in many schools, churches, and non-profit organizations. I live and breathe this stuff everyday so you are in good hands. Plus, I am incredibly passionate about my work, so we’re likely to have a good time.
Insurance: I can provide you with a Superbill for all direct contact therapy services included in the program. If your plan allows, you may be eligible to get reimbursed for the monthly EMDR intensive session, and online group therapy sessions. We can provide you with a statement at the end of each month.
Payment: We will keep your credit card on file and charge you automatically every week, or every month depending on the payment plan you choose.
Duration: We ask for six month commitment to help you have time and space to feel better, and for the health and continuity for the group. But if you want to stop the program at any time you can with 14 days notice. We require you let us know, in writing, 14 days before the start if the next month’s session. You are also welcome to continue on in the program beyond the six months, if you are benefiting from the program and wish to continue.
Individual Sessions: EMDR intensives are done 1:1 online. These are done once a month, and scheduled individually based on availability. Traditional therapy models make you come in week-week, but this greatly reduces travel time by only having to come once a month. If you want more than one individual sessions per month, you can request them at any time and they will be billed an additional session fee, separate from the program.
